Tom Aspinall Wants to Destroy the Entire Top 10 and He’s Already Named Names

After months of uncertainty, Tom Aspinall finally has clarity.

The English heavyweight has confirmed that he now holds the title of Undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion, and with it, he’s aiming for an ambitious goal: to defeat every fighter in the division’s top 10

“My goal is to beat all 10,” he declared.

Aspinall, who is 14–3 in MMA and riding a three-fight win streak (all by first-round finishes), made the statement during an extended sit-down interview reflecting on his past year of inactivity, the frustrations of delays, and his outlook going forward.

“I’ve Beaten Six of Them Already”

Tom didn’t shy away from asserting his dominance: “If you look at the top 10 now, I’ve beaten six of them already.”

Fighters like Marcin Tybura, Alexander Volkov, and Sergei Pavlovich have already fallen to Aspinall’s speed and power.

But the few he hasn’t fought names like Ciryl Gane, Jailton Almeida, and others remain on his radar.

He explained that he doesn’t look past opponents. “Every guy I fight is the most dangerous guy in the world to me.”

That fear, he says, drives his preparation and focus.

“I’ve Not Fought in a Year That Was Tougher Than My Knee Injury”

Aspinall revealed that the past year of inactivity due to opponent changes and UFC delays was “more difficult than when I tore my knee.”

With shifting fight dates and no consistent goal to train toward, he described feeling stuck:

“The goalposts kept moving.”

He emphasized how mentally taxing it was to not be able to “go to work,” which for him is getting inside the Octagon.

Three or Four Fights in the Next Year

Now that he has an undisclosed fight booked (which he couldn’t reveal yet), Aspinall wants to stay “as active as possible.”

He hopes to fight three times by mid-2026 possibly four, depending on injuries and scheduling.

Though the next bout won’t be in the UK, he’s hoping to bring a future card back home:

“If I could fight every fight in the UK, I would.”

Not Focused on Legacy — Yet

Despite now being the undisputed champion, Aspinall insists that “relief” was the main emotion not celebration.

“I’d have preferred to take the belt off Jon Jones,” he admitted.

While legacy fights like Ciryl Gane or even a blockbuster bout against Alex Pereira have been floated, Tom remains grounded:

“I never look beyond the next guy.”

He credits his mental approach, constant visualization, and years of repetition in training for allowing him to stay calm and perform under pressure.

“I make really, really good decisions in split seconds. That’s my strength,” he said.

Aspinall’s Endgame

While he’s not planning to retire anytime soon, Aspinall is conscious of the physical toll:

“I want to retire from the sport before it retires me.”

He hinted that his career has entered its second half, but for now, his only focus is fighting and winning again.

As fans wait for the official announcement of his next opponent, one thing is clear

Tom Aspinall is ready to work, and he’s coming for everyone in the top 10.
